Rider wakes much later than noon. It isn't until three o'clock that he dares to manifest himself, and he does so outside just in case Chiyo's temper has caught up with him.

The snow is still weird. What's weirder is Chiyo's youngest now in the backyard, trying to make a sculpture in the stuff. Rider watches for a few moments, not quite sure why this is the boy's chosen medium.
